The Offering

A space for meditation, personal reflection, journaling, and/or creative process in community

Support of meditative and intuitive live music

An opportunity for our community members of all ages and experience levels to pause together and tap into a peaceful, rich environment

What makes this unique?

My heart is on fire when I am offering music for people with a purpose. I feel at home when I am tapped into the energy of people around me within the spirit of music.

So in this FreeFlow container, I will be playing quiet, intuitive music in the background, for you.

~Katy

The Intention

There are no rules, requirements or points of failure in a meditation practice. Your intention for meditation might be vastly different than mine. As a wise teacher once told me, “The best meditation practice is the one that you do.” For me, meditation can be experienced in the creative process, in silent breathing practices, in journaling, in spiritual reflection. And, perhaps most importantly for me, I believe that these experiences are often easier to have when we are in community.

I have a theory. I think that when we are free to try things that intuitively feel peaceful and nourishing within a group setting, we can access our meditation practice with an open mind and a joyful, curious spirit. And, I think that the option of opening the doors to creative practices allows all kinds of people to find a path they might not have considered.

My intent is to offer this space to all – to our youth, to our young adults, to our middle-aged, and to our elders. Having multiple generations uniquely practicing peaceful, curious, creative mindfulness in the same room is a magical experience. It teaches everyone. It reaches everyone. Everyone gives and everyone receives.
